It’s back… and things are getting a little hotter.
After the success of our first Book Fair for Adults, we’re turning it up a notch (or three) by spreading things out and taking the entire experience outside for a day of sunshine, stories, and just the right amount of spice. Wander into a space that feels nostalgic in all the best ways - rows of books to explore, makers to meet, new ink calling your name, and that familiar thrill of discovering something you didn’t know you needed; only this time, the pages are a little steamier and the drinks hit a little different.
We’re bringing together an even bigger lineup of indie booksellers, artists, and bookish creators who live and breathe the culture. Browse the traveling shelves of Wandering Book Co and Teeny Tiny Bookshop, discover new favorites from Spicy Librarian Bookstore, and get lost in a world where your TBR pile is about to grow significantly.
In between chapters, lean into the experience with special themed flash tattoos from returning artist David Shull (and a second special guest artist), tarot readings from Golden local Vanessa Farrell of A Shanti Ki (plus her friend and newcomer, Heather), and a curated mix of bookish goods, from cozy, story-inspired candles by Foxglove & Fable and permanent jewelry from BOND to handcrafted pieces from Booking Crafts and Heck Yea Merch!
And because we like to keep things immersive, we’ll be pouring a special themed Slüsh for the occasion: Blood of the Dragon. Consider it your perfect pairing for whatever kind of “page-turner” you take home. Whether you’re here for a soft, cozy escape or something a little more… intense… you’ll find your next favorite story with a drink in hand and a few surprises along the way.
