4 CT Hotels Land On List Of Region's Best

The publication released its annual Top 20 Hotels in the Northeast on Tuesday.

Four Connecticut hotels have been named among the best in the Northeast, with one taking the No. 2 spot in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards.

The publication’s Top 20 Hotels in the Northeast includes properties in Washington, Litchfield, Westport and Mystic. The rankings were based on votes from Condé Nast Traveler readers.

Here are the Connecticut hotels that made the list:

No. 2: Mayflower Inn & Spa, Washington

Set in the Litchfield Hills, Mayflower Inn & Spa offers guest rooms and suites in an English country house-style setting, along with three standalone cottages. The property also features The Retreat, its wellness and spa facility.

No. 5: Belden House & Mews, Litchfield

Belden House & Mews is a restored 3-acre estate in Litchfield’s historic center. The property combines an 1888 Colonial Revival house with the more modern Mews and includes a restaurant, bathhouse and seasonal heated pool.

No. 12: Delamar Westport, Westport

Delamar Westport has 84 guest rooms and suites, including three suites designed by fashion designer Christian Siriano. The hotel also features Dandelion, a Mediterranean restaurant, an indoor pool and sauna.

No. 13: Delamar Mystic, Mystic

Located along the Mystic River, Delamar Mystic has 31 waterfront rooms and suites, along with a private cottage. The property includes La Plage Restaurant & Oyster Bar, a seasonal heated outdoor pool and complimentary admission to Mystic Seaport Museum for hotel guests.

Nearly 799,000 votes were cast in Condé Nast Traveler’s 39th annual Readers’ Choice Awards.
