"The 2nd weekend of May is shaping up to be 50-50. Saturday is cool as temps will be running about 10 degrees below normal," said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists. "While we start dry, plan for scattered showers to become likely from the afternoon into the evening hours. Then, Mother’s Day looks fantastic! Temps peak slightly above average, in the upper 60s and lower 70s (this is also our warmest day of the next 7). While dry during the day, the chance for rain increases at night."
