Town-By-Town Power Outages Released As Numerous Road Closures Reported In CT
More than 15,000 Connecticut residents are without power on Saturday.
UPDATE: Eversource is now reporting 3,772 outages as of 7:56 p.m., and UI is now reporting 368 outages.
Earlier on Saturday, 15,000 Connecticut residents were without power as a strong windstorm moved through the state.
"Our crews are working as quickly as safely possible to clear damage and restore power to our customers impacted by the heavy rain and strong winds. We’re there when you need us! Please be sure to stay far away from any downed wires and report them to 911," Eversource officials said.

The wind gusts should decrease this evening, back to 15 mph or less. On Sunday, the high-temperature rebounds into the mid 70s.
Current closures on state roads via the CT DOT:
ROCKY HILL - Rocky Hill Ferry CLOSED due to high winds. Reported Saturday, May 30 at 10:28 am.
WOODBRIDGE - Route 243 Ansonia Road CLOSED at Beecher Road because of wires and tree down in roadway.
THOMPSON - CT-12, Both Directions CLOSED at LaPorte St because of a Tree Down in Wires.
WINDHAM - CT-14, Both Directions CLOSED at Ballamahack Rd because of a Tree Down in Wires.
SHERMAN - RT 39 CLOSED in Both Directions at Wanzer Hill Road due to tree down in wires.
ORANGE - Route 114 - Racebrook Road at Tyler City and Russell are CLOSED. (Police Activity).
LEBANON - LEBANON (CT-616, Both Directions) CLOSED between Roger Foote Road & Geer Road, Tree Down w/ Wires.
MADISON - Route 79 (Durham Road) is CLOSED between White Oak Lane and Lyle Drive. (Police Activity).
