In December, the retailer opened a store in South Windsor. In 2021, Toys"R"Us announced it would partner with Macy's to open inside 400 of the department store's locations nationwide. Those mini stores are now in Macy's in Stamford, Trumbull, Danbury, Milford, Manchester and West Hartford.
The reemergence of Toys"R"Us comes after the once-mighty brand filed for bankruptcy and shuttered locations in 2018. The retailer is operated by parent company Go! Calendar & Games.
