Vehicle Plunges Into Water In Barkhamsted: Police

BARKHAMSTED, CT — A vehicle entered the water on Route 219 in Barkhamsted at about 3:14 p.m. Wednesday, according to Connecticut State Police.

Troopers responded and were still at the scene investigating the incident as of 5 p.m., according to a state police spokesperson.

Police as of Wednesday evening had not said if anyone was injured. No additional details were released.
