On January 13th, the Avon Land Trust welcomed six new board members onto its team:
Virginia Brown, Ben Isaacson, Ruth Lewis, Kimberly Marze, Ed Roy, and Matthew Wilhelm. The new board members, all Avon residents, bring a strong complement of skills and experience in environmental and contract law, grant writing, construction/project management, fundraising, event planning, and environmental science to the board’s already strong team.

“We are excited to expand our board of directors with such talented people," remarked Avon Land Trust board president, Tom Kassan, "and we can't wait to work with them in continuing our mission to preserve and protect open space in Avon.”

The six new board members join existing members Kassan, Susan Rietano Davey (vice president), Scott Lewis (treasurer), and directors Bob Breckinridge, Len Oremland, and Dave Whitney. To learn more about the Avon Land Trust and upcoming events, please visit www.avonlandtrust.org.
