Pride Day Block Party Slated In Avon
The event will take place Thursday, June 1, at the West Avon Congregational Church.
AVON, CT — For the second year in a row, the Avon community is celebrating the LGBTQ+ community's Pride Day with the annual "Pride Block Party."
The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the West Avon Congregational Church on Thursday, June 1.
The fun, family-friendly event will feature giveaways, a bounce house, resources for the LGBTQ+ community, a touch-a-truck event and an "Avon Cares" sign sale, among other features.

The West Avon Congregational Church is at 280 Country Club Road, Avon, across the street from the Avon Free Public Library.
The 2023 event is organized and hosted by the West Avon Congregational Church, Avon Free Public Library and the Avon Youth Services Board.
