AVON, CT — The priciest house for sale in Avon right now doesn't exist yet, and neither does No. 3.

No. 1 on the list is new construction at 60 Vermillion Drive, asking $2,189,000. The planned 4,592-square-foot home on 2 acres has five bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half bathrooms, with the primary suite on the main level and four more bedrooms and a second-floor laundry room upstairs. The 8,656-square-foot house, built in 1985, has six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and one half bathroom on 7.43 acres on Avon's east side.
