Pretty Paws is owned and operated by a mother-daughter team: Caroline Deane, a licensed dog groomer, and Janet Deane, a former executive director of the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce.

The business plan describes Pretty Paws as a high-end dog grooming salon and boutique focused on personalized, one-on-one grooming and a "fear-free" approach designed to reduce stress for pets.

If approved, the business would operate Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and expects to serve between five and eight grooming appointments per day.
