"I can’t believe we’re making this video right now. Hi everyone. Fans, friends, and followers. We’re here making an announcement we don't want to make. But after a wonderful 14-year run on Main Street in Branford, we’re closing.

The building is old. It needs a lot of work. We want to upgrade. We’re not getting any help with the upgrades, and we just can’t do it.

We’d like to thank the community for all the support over all these years. We survived Covid because of you. We want to thank everyone that’s participated in all of our fundraisers and made all those successes.

We’ve made a lot of friends over the 14 years. A lot of the friends feel like family.

One of the things that makes us feel OK with closing after 14 years is that our staff can be relocated to my various restaurants. We want to make sure everybody has a three-week notice that they should come in and use their gift card, say goodbye, and have one last drink.

This isn’t goodbye forever. We may try to reopen at some point in a different location. Keep an eye on our social media, we won’t shut it down, and if there are any exciting announcements, we'll make sure to make them.

There’s no place like home. We’ll be back; wait and see.

You will never have a restaurant like us."
