Carol (Riccio) Piscitelli, 92 of Guilford, formerly of East Haven passed away peacefully at the Arden House in Hamden on September 26, 2026. She was born July 20, 1934 in New Haven to Guido and Mae (Leito) Riccio. Carol is survived by her two children; Debbie Mierzwa (Stephen) of Vernon and Mark Piscitelli of Guilford along with grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Lorraine Johnson (Arne) of Minnesota. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Vincent Piscitelli (2026), son, Stephen Piscitelli and a brother, Joseph Riccio. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a graveside service on Thursday October 1, 2026 at 12 PM (NOON) in East Lawn Cemetery, 58 River Street, East Haven. Please go directly to the cemetery on Thursday. All services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven CT.

Both are important. The key is knowing which voice the learner needs in the moment — when to step in with direction and when to step back and make room for&nbsp;thinking.
