Construction Has Shuttered Montowese Street Between Main And South Main Streets: BPD

BRANFORD, CT — Thursday morning, Branford police shared that Montowese Street is closed in both directions between Main Street and South Main Street due to construction.

The road closure is expected to remain in effect throughout the day, police said, but added that Town Hall Drive and Bradley Avenue remain accessible.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes.

"Thank you for your patience and cooperation as this work is completed," police noted.
