Rotary Club Announces 2026 College Scholarship Opportunities For Branford Students
$4,000 scholarships for 3 students showing academic excellence, community service, understand Rotary's Service Above Self guiding principle.
BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Rotary Club announced the
availability of its annual college scholarship program for graduating Branford students pursuing higher education in the fall of 2026.
Each year, the club awards three $4,000 scholarships, to Branford students who demonstrate strong academic achievement, a commitment to community service, and an understanding of Rotary’s guiding principle of 'Service Above Self.'
The scholarship program recognizes students who have made meaningful contributions to their schools and communities while preparing for future educational and career goals.

To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a resident of Branford, CT
- Graduate from high school in spring 2026
- Begin college in fall 2026
- Demonstrate community service involvement
- Exhibit scholastic achievement and a deep appreciation for service-oriented values.
Applicants are required to submit:
- Completed scholarship application
- High school transcript with school seal
- SAT and/or ACT scores
- Two teacher recommendations
- Documentation or description of community service
- College acceptance letter
- Optional statement of financial need or hardship
- Essay
The application deadline is June 10. Applications are available at branfordrotary.org/scholarships.php.
