Bridgeport To Mark End Of Hispanic Heritage Month With Closing Celebration
The closing celebration will feature local artwork and community honorees.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport will hold a closing celebration for Hispanic Heritage Month on Friday, Oct. 9, featuring local artwork and recognition of six community members.
The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Margaret E. Morton Government Center, 999 Broad St., in conference rooms A, B and C.
The celebration will include a ceremony highlighting artwork created by local residents. Six people also will be honored for their service, dedication and contributions to the Bridgeport community.

Friday's event marks the conclusion of Bridgeport's monthlong Hispanic Heritage Month celebration and recognize the culture, heritage and creativity of the city's Hispanic and Latino community.
