Bridgeport Open Houses Oct. 17-18: A Black Rock Cape On Ash Creek And 6 More

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport's open houses this weekend include a Black Rock Cape rebuilt in 2024 where, the listing says, you can kayak from the backyard on Ash Creek, a brownstone-style townhouse across from Fairfield, and a 1907 three-family on Park Avenue with more than 5,000 square feet.

Seven Bridgeport homes are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, with prices from $274,900 to $725,000, according to Zillow.com.

Saturday, Oct. 17

75 Hemlock St., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (also Sunday, 1 to 3 p.m.), $499,900. Remodeled from the ground up in 2024, this Black Rock Cape on the Fairfield border has a new roof, siding, windows, kitchen with quartz, hardwood floors, wiring, plumbing, furnace and central air, according to the listing. The bedroom and balcony overlook Ash Creek, and the listing says you can kayak from the backyard. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,300 square feet on a quarter-acre lot.

3250 Fairfield Ave. #110, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., $329,900. In a rear corner of the Village at Black Rock, this one-level condo overlooks Ash Creek and has an open kitchen with granite and stainless steel, hardwood floors and a private deck, according to the listing. The seller is accepting cash offers only. It's a two-bedroom, two-bath condo with 1,145 square feet; the HOA fee is $430 a month.

329 Greenwood St., noon to 2 p.m., $425,000. Renovated top to bottom, this 1957 Cape on a quiet North End street has hardwood floors, a white kitchen with quartz and stainless steel, a formal dining room, a first-floor primary bedroom and bath and a finished basement, according to the listing. It's a three-bedroom, 1.5-bath home with 2,092 square feet.

52 Riverview Drive #52, noon to 2 p.m., $274,900. On a quiet cul-de-sac near the Fairfield line, this condo has an oversized living room with sliders to a private deck, in-unit laundry and a primary suite with a walk-in closet and its own bath, according to the listing. It's a two-bedroom, two-bath condo with 1,250 square feet; the HOA fee is $380 a month.

3300 Park Ave. #33, 1 to 3 p.m. (also Sunday, 1 to 3 p.m.), $499,000. At the Brownstones at 3300 Park Avenue, across from Fairfield, this townhouse has three stories plus a finished basement and both a private front patio and a large back patio, according to the listing. It's a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath condo with 2,474 square feet; the HOA fee is $659 a month. Its price was cut by $51,000 on Oct. 5.

1645 Old Town Road, noon to 3 p.m., $460,000. This 1956 North End house has three bedrooms and a full bath upstairs and, on the main floor, an office or extra bedroom, a den, a second full bath and a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, according to the listing. It is being sold as-is. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 2,274 square feet.

1535 Park Ave., noon to 3 p.m., $725,000. New to the market Sunday, this 1907 three-family spans more than 5,000 square feet over three full stories, with separate utility systems on each floor, according to the listing. Zillow counts it as a nine-bedroom, three-bath property with 5,190 square feet.

Make a weekend of it: Saturday, start in Black Rock at 11 a.m. with Hemlock Street and the Ash Creek condo, then head to the North End for Greenwood Street and Riverview Drive at noon, ending at the Park Avenue brownstones at 1. Sunday, Old Town Road and 1535 Park Ave. both run noon to 3 p.m.
