Becoming a Literacy Volunteer is a great way to make a positive impact!
Literacy Volunteers help adult students learn to speak English or improve their basic reading, writing, or math skills. We work with Bridgeport area adults who want to become US citizens, obtain their high school diploma, or simply improve their basic skills.
You don’t need to speak another language or have a teaching background to volunteer! We provide training and materials.
