CT's Beardsley Zoo In Bridgeport To Host 'Fairy Tails Day' With Storybook Characters
The September event features costumes, face painting, glitter tattoos, photo opportunities and health education.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport will host Fairy Tails Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, featuring storybook and superhero characters and activities for children.
Children will have opportunities to meet and take photos with Belle, Tiana, Ariel, Superman, Supergirl, Snow White and Cinderella.
The event will also include face painting and glitter tattoos. Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite characters.

Pediatric Healthcare Associates, the event sponsor, will be on-site providing health education and awareness, as well as giveaways for families.
“One of the best parts of Fairy Tails Day is seeing how excited the kids are,” said Dr. Jim Wharton, CEO of Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. “They get to dress up, meet some of their favorite characters and enjoy a fun day at the Zoo with their families. We’re grateful to Pediatric Healthcare Associates for helping us make the day possible.”
