Developer To Buy Vacant Bridgeport Properties From City: Report
An apartment building is planned for the two Golden Hill Street lots.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Developer Douglas Woods is planning to buy a pair of vacant Bridgeport properties from the city in order to construct a new apartment building, the Connecticut Post reported.
The city is reportedly selling the two, connected lots downtown, at 157 and 171 Golden Hill St., for a total of $250,000.
Woods, through his company Douglas Allen Group, is reportedly planning to build an apartment building with 30 to 40 units, down from a planned 75 units when he proposed it last year.
