1 Injured After Vehicle Collides With City Bus In Bridgeport: Update

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A passenger was injured Tuesday afternoon when a Bridgeport city bus collided with another vehicle near the intersection of Lindley and North avenues, according to police.

The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m., and seven passengers on the bus were initially evaluated for possible injuries by American Medical Response, Bridgeport Public Information Officer Shawnna White said in a statement.

"One party was transported to a local hospital for evaluation of a non-life-threatening injury," White said. "The [Bridgeport Police] Department is investigating further."
