Brookfield Grocery Store Hosting Grand Opening Celebration
The grocery store plans food tastings, giveaways and special sales during the event later this month.
BROOKFIELD, CT — The Food Emporium is planning a grand opening celebration and customer appreciation event later this month featuring food tastings, giveaways and storewide sales.
The event is scheduled for May 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the grocery store on Federal Road, according to social media posts from the business.
Organizers said the event will include music, face painting and activities for families, along with special sales running throughout the week. One advertised promotion includes chicken breast priced at $1.49 per pound beginning May 15.
