Missing Person Found Dead After ATV Discovered In Brookfield Woods: Police
Police said the discovery was made during a search for a missing person.
BROOKFIELD, CT — A person reported missing was found dead after police discovered an ATV off the roadway in a wooded area of Brookfield, according to police.
The Brookfield Police Department said it received a report of a missing person late Friday. Officers searching the area later found an ATV off the roadway and in the woods near 52 Candlewood Shores Road, police said.
Further investigation by police and EMS determined the ATV’s sole occupant was dead at the scene, according to police.

The Brookfield Accident Investigation Team is investigating the incident.
Police did not release the identity of the deceased or provide additional information Saturday morning.
