The course will start near the community park with the runners turning right onto Rocky Mountain Road and then traveling to near the bottom of Hemlock Road and then retracing their strides to the area near the community park.

Proceeds will go to the Roxbury Ambulance Association and the Roxbury Scholarship Foundation. Last year the race series donated $1,000 to each organization through the proceeds from the race and monies from its treasury.

The top finishers will again be awarded wooden medallions designed by Dave Harvey, a former season champion in the Roxbury race series.

The race series also will be collecting non-perishable goods for the Roxbury Food Pantry at the Church of Christ in Roxbury.
