CHESHIRE, CT — The Cheshire Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time police officer – both entry-level and POST-certified laterals.

“The Cheshire Police Department offers many special assignments and divisions including a Regional SWAT Team, School Resource Officer, Detective/Investigative Bureau, Traffic Division, Regional Crash Team, Peer Support Team, Honor Guard, Bicycle, Motorcycle, and ATV Patrols, Self-Defense Instructors, Police Cadets, and so much more. Our Officers regularly interact with the Cheshire community in many ways; always striving to create and retain connections with the people we serve!”

Entry-Level: $74,812.18 annually

Top Step: $108,641.21 annually
