1 Rescued From 2-Alarm House Fire In Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Firefighters rescued one person from a burning home as crews battled a second-alarm fire in Danbury's Aunt Hack area Monday afternoon, according to the city's firefighters union.

Danbury Professional Fire Fighters Local 801 said shortly before 2 p.m. that its members were operating at a second-alarm residential structure fire.

Initial reports indicated one person was rescued from the home by firefighters, according to the union.

The incident remained ongoing as of about 2:30 p.m.
