DANBURY, CT — A Connecticut restaurant owner accused of offering $20,000 to silence individuals connected to a sexual assault investigation has pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to court records.

Ljatif “Tony” Ramadani, 68, entered not guilty pleas Tuesday to two felony counts of bribery of a witness in Waterbury Superior Court, according to state judicial records.

Ramadani was arrested in March after Connecticut State Police accused him of offering money to individuals connected to an ongoing sexual assault investigation involving MIX Prime Steakhouse, Fish & Sushi Bar in Woodbury.

Investigators previously said Ramadani met with individuals tied to the case at a Danbury office in June 2025 and offered $20,000 in cash in exchange for not cooperating with law enforcement or continuing to pursue the matter.

The charges stem from a broader investigation into allegations that former MIX Prime head chef Walid Gad sexually assaulted multiple employees at the restaurant. Gad was arrested separately and faces several charges, including sexual assault in the first degree, according to state police.
