Danbury Fireworks 2026: What To Know Before This Weekend's Celebration

The free event will feature live music, food and a fireworks display at dusk.

DANBURY, CT — Danbury's annual fireworks celebration returns Saturday with live music, food and a fireworks display over Candlewood Lake as the city continues its America 250 celebration.

The free event will be held Saturday, June 27, at Candlewood Town Park, 36 Hayestown Road.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with live music by Junk beginning at 6 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at dusk.

Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early and expect traffic delays in the area as thousands are expected to attend.

The fireworks celebration is free and open to the public. Food and concessions will be available throughout the evening.
