New Chicken Restaurant Coming To Danbury

DANBURY, CT — A new chicken restaurant is preparing to open in Danbury.

Uncle Stickey's Chicken, an independent fast-casual restaurant based in Danbury, is preparing to open at 30 Hayestown Ave.

Signage outside the future location promises "The Stickey's Revolution Is Coming."

According to the company's website, Uncle Stickey's specializes in chicken wings, sandwiches and chicken bowls. The restaurant says its chicken is never frozen, marinated overnight and slow-cooked rather than fried.

While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the company is encouraging residents to sign up online for a chance to attend a pre-opening party.
