Vehicle Fire Under Investigation In Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Firefighters quickly extinguished a vehicle fire on Chestnut Street Wednesday night, and no injuries were reported, according to the Danbury Fire Department.

Engine 23 responded to the reported vehicle fire at about 9 p.m. along with companies from Headquarters, the department said.

Crews brought the fire under control, preventing further damage, according to the department.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Danbury Fire Marshal's Office.
