Darien Church Property Slated For Demolition And Redevelopment

The Episcopal Church of Connecticut plans to demolish the inactive former St. Paul’s Church at 471 Mansfield Ave. in Darien and subdivide the property into four single-family home lots, according to the Greenwich Time.

A formal plan will be filed in the spring.

Church officials told the Greenwich Time that redevelopment would allow the diocese to focus more time on ministry and community outreach as opposed to maintaining the building.
