EAST HAMPTON, CT — East Hampton's open houses this weekend are a 2003 custom home with a curved staircase and an inground pool on almost 3 acres, and a builder's open house for new homes with views of Lake Pocotopaug.

One East Hampton home and a new-construction development are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, with prices from $744,900 to $899,900, according to Zillow.com. No Portland homes have open houses scheduled this weekend.

Saturday, Oct. 10

10 Arden Drive, East Hampton, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (also Sunday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), $899,900. New to the market Oct. 9, this 2003 custom home on 2.93 private acres has a circular driveway, a grand foyer with a curved staircase, refinished oak floors and a new roof and skylights from 2024. The first floor includes an office and a sunroom, and there's an inground pool. It's a four-bedroom home with three full and one half baths and 3,753 square feet.

Sunday, Oct. 11

Freya Lane, East Hampton, noon to 2 p.m., $744,900 to $764,900. Builder Yvon Beaudoin's Phase II at Lake Overlook Estates has two homesites with views of Lake Pocotopaug, a 1.22-acre lot and a 2.21-acre lot, and Zillow lists six floor plans for them: the Cambridge, a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with 2,357 square feet and a first-floor primary suite ($744,900); the Heritage, a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with 2,821 square feet ($744,900); the Georgetown, a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath farmhouse plan with 2,691 square feet ($744,900); the Charlestown, a three-bedroom, two-bath ranch with 2,046 square feet ($747,900); the Magnolia, a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with 2,860 square feet ($757,900); and the Richmond, a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with 2,706 square feet ($764,900). The listings say the road is under construction and ask visitors not to go onto the site, so check a listing for open-house details before you go. Association fees are projected at about $60 a month.
