
Sadie Lynn Pitts, 31, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family and friends.
Born in New Haven, CT, on June 21, 1995, Sadie was the beloved daughter of Jocelyn Consiglio and Wallace Pitts. She
grew up in Connecticut, graduating from East Haven High School before following her passion for helping others by
earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from ECPI University.
Sadie is survived by her mother, Jocelyn Consiglio; her father, Wallace (Stephanie) Pitts ; her brother, Travis Pitts; and her
grandmother, Margaret Pitts. She also leaves behind her beloved uncles John Pitts, Richard (Gina) Caruso, and cousins
Richard, Josephine, Francesca and Michael Caruso all of East Haven, her beloved dog and constant companion, Ollie,
and a vast community of friends whose lives were forever brightened by her light.

As a dedicated Registered Nurse, Sadie devoted her life to caring for others, reflecting her generous heart and a deep
commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her. Her devotion extended far beyond the
workplace. Whether serving on overseas mission trips with her church, playing her guitar and singing, sun tanning at the
beach, or enjoying concerts and music festivals with friends, she filled every space with joy and laughter.
Free-spirited and adventurous, Sadie embraced the world with an open heart. She loved traveling across the United
States, Europe, and Africa. She possessed a rare and beautiful gift: the uncanny ability to make everyone around her feel
welcomed, deeply loved, and vibrant. Her infectious laugh, gentle warmth, caring heart and glowing spirit left an indelible
mark on all who knew her. She found her greatest happiness in music, fishing, global adventures, walking her dog, and
the quiet, simple moments that become lasting memories forever.

Sadie was the type of person you only had to meet once to be changed by her existence. To know her was to know the
true meaning of what it’s like to live free and squeeze every last drop out of life. Smart, hilarious, creative, talented, and
beautifully unique, she embraced life fully, radiating light and love and approaching every journey with an open heart.
Though her time with us was far too short, Sadie’s legacy of love, faith, and joy will live on in the hearts of those she
touched. The undeniable mark she left on the world will never be forgotten and she will forever be missed.
In honor of Sadie’s beautiful journey, a service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at
Galilee Episcopal Church, 3928 Pacific Ave, Virginia Beach, VA. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream of
