Anthony Maggipinto, a 2026 graduate of Enfield High School, was named a Carl Moller Scholarship recipient through the Connecticut Police Foundation, according to the Enfield Police Department and the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association. The scholarship program awards $1,000 college scholarships to Connecticut high school seniors interested in law enforcement careers. Applicants are reviewed locally by police chiefs before finalists are forwarded to the Connecticut Police Foundation's Awards Committee. CPCA said this year's Carl Moller Scholarship recipients were Maggipinto, William Shine of Willington and Charles Lugo-Uhler of New London. The winners were recognized at the association's annual meeting June 18 at the Farmington Polo Club. Maggipinto plans to attend Mitchell College this fall, according to Enfield police.
