Enfield Resident Wins Big On Scratch Ticket

ENFIELD, CT — An Enfield resident won $10,000 playing the Connecticut Lottery’s “20X Cash 10th Edition” scratch game.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sam’s Food Store, 240 Brainard Road, and the prize was claimed Tuesday, Sept. 1, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The winner’s name was not released because, under a state law that took effect Oct. 1, 2025, the Connecticut Lottery cannot publish winners’ names without their written consent.
