Play Ball: Enfield Little League Sets Spring Evaluation Day
Players ages 8 and older must attend evaluations ahead of the spring season.
ENFIELD, CT — Enfield Little League is preparing for the upcoming spring season with player evaluations scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at the Enfield High School gym.
League officials said evaluations are mandatory for all players age 8 and older, as well as for 7-year-old players who want to move up to the AA division.
The evaluations are used to assess player skills and help league organizers balance teams ahead of the spring season.

Families with siblings in different divisions may have them go through evaluations at the same time, according to the league. Officials also said families who need a different time slot should reach out to request an accommodation.
Evaluations will be held at Enfield High School, 1264 Enfield St.

The evaluation schedule is as follows:
- 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for 11- and 12-year-olds.
- 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. for 9- and 10-year-olds.
- 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for 8-year-olds and 7-year-olds trying out for AA.
League officials said families with questions about evaluations or scheduling should contact Enfield Little League.
