State police said children were on board the bus, but no injuries were reported.
ENFIELD, CT — A school bus carrying children was involved in a minor crash at the Somers/Enfield town line Wednesday afternoon, according to Connecticut State Police Troop C.
Troopers said the crash occurred Feb. 25 on Shaker Road, where the bus and a northbound tractor-trailer made contact as the roadway narrowed due to snow along the shoulder.
Police said the bus was traveling southbound at about 30 miles per hour while the tractor-trailer was heading northbound at roughly the same speed. At some point, the driver-side mirrors of both vehicles struck each other, causing minor damage.
