2. Daffodil Days
When: Daily through April 21, 2026
Where: Various locations throughout Essex
To celebrate the arrival of spring, over 45,000 gorgeous golden daffodils have been planted from Ivoryton to Centerbrook to Essex for local residents to enjoy as they stroll through town and explore local restaurants and merchants. 3. Connecticut Spring Boat Show

The Connecticut Spring Boat Show returns to Essex for its 10th year, bringing together boaters, marine businesses, and exhibitors along the Connecticut River, with dozens of boats on display and proceeds supporting Sails Up 4 Cancer.
