15 new businesses registered in Chester, Essex & Deep River in August, including a farm and an independent artist.

TOWN, CT — Chester, Essex and Deep River together recorded 15 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry — five in Chester, eight in Essex and two in Deep River. Management consultants led the way with three filings, followed by commercial landlords and software and IT firms.

Among the new arrivals were DJR Dressage of Chester, a farm, Seenwell of Chester, a software publisher and Hannah Aubrey Marketing of Essex, an advertising-services business. All 15 organized as limited liability companies.

State registration doesn't guarantee a business is open to customers yet; the filing can precede or follow a launch by months. The full list for every town in the beat, with cities, addresses and business categories, is below.
