Fairfield Animal Control Nurses Duck Back To Health

"Animal Control Officers are monitoring him closely..."

FAIRFIELD, CT — What's a duck to do when it doesn't feel like heading south for the winter? Perhaps hang out with the crew from Fairfield Animal Control.

In a Facebook post this week, the division says it has been caring for a duck that appears to be having some difficulty flying.

"Animal Control Officers are monitoring him closely and providing a high nutrition diet as we work to help him regain full strength," officials wrote.
