Gather at the hearth in the Whitman Tavern with historic interpreter Dennis Picard for an afternoon of storytelling that brings early New England’s mysterious side into focus. Through ghost stories, superstitions, and unsettling folklore, Dennis will explore the beliefs and fears that shaped how people understood their world. Recommended for ages 14 and older (children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardia). Seating in the Whitman Tavern is limited; advance registration is strongly encouraged. This program is supported in part by a generous gift from a friend of the museum.
