Farmington Manufacturer Planning Move To Bristol

FARMINGTON/BRISTOL, CT — A Farmington-based precision manufacturing company is seeking approval to construct a 29,500-square-foot manufacturing facility in Bristol's industrial park.

Integrity Manufacturing LLC has submitted a site plan application to build a new facility at 190 Business Park Drive, according to documents filed with the City of Bristol.

The Bristol Planning Commission on Monday, Aug. 24, scheduled a public hearing on the proposal for Sept. 21.

The city received the application Aug. 13.

Integrity Manufacturing, currently located at 1451 New Britain Ave. in Farmington, is listed as the applicant, while the City of Bristol is listed as the property owner.

The property, identified as Assessor's Map 3, Lot 6, is located in the city's IP-1 Industrial Park zone.

The application seeks site plan approval for the proposed manufacturing building.

Reportedly, the company intends to relocate its existing Farmington operations to Bristol.

According to its website, Integrity Manufacturing specializes in precision grinding and other manufacturing processes involving carbide, steel, tungsten, and plasma coatings.

The company offers precision outside-diameter, inside-diameter and surface grinding, along with double-disc grinding, lapping and Blanchard grinding services.

Integrity Manufacturing says it serves customers in the aerospace, industrial, commercial, manufacturing, medical, automotive and military industries.

The Bristol Planning Commission did not take final action on the site plan Monday.

The proposal will return to the commission for its scheduled public hearing on Sept. 21.
