Glastonbury Seeking 2026 Military Wall of Honor Submissions
Residents can submit photos and service details for veterans and active-duty community members by close of business Aug. 31.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury is accepting new submissions for its 2026 Military Wall of Honor update, with all materials due by the close of business Monday, Aug. 31. The display, located in Town Hall, recognizes members of the Glastonbury community who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.
According to the town's notice, residents who want a veteran family member, friend or colleague included should submit a photograph along with the person's rank, branch of service, duty station if applicable, hometown, assignment and immediate family information. The town said the current update is part of a redesign of the Wall of Honor.
The notice states, "The Town is currently updating our Military Wall of Honor, located in Town Hall, which recognizes members of the Glastonbury community who have proudly served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces." It also says, "If you would like to have a veteran family member, friend, or colleague included on the Military Wall of Honor, please submit a photograph along with the individual's rank, branch of service, duty station (if applicable), hometown, assignment, and immediate family information."

The town listed preferred photo specifications as 4 inches by 6 inches at 300 DPI, though larger images up to 8 inches by 10 inches also will be accepted. Digital files may be emailed to customerservicecenter@glastonbury-ct.gov. Residents also may drop off photographs and information at the Customer Service Center in Town Hall at 2155 Main St., according to the notice.
For this year's update, the town said all new submissions must be received by the close of business Monday, Aug. 31. The notice states, "Please note: Individuals who have already submitted a photograph since the last Wall of Honor update will be included in the redesign and do not need to resubmit materials."

Questions about the submission process can be directed to the Customer Service Center at 860-652-7710, according to the town. The update gives families and friends a way to add local service members and veterans to the Town Hall display before this year's deadline.
