After Nearly 2 Feet Of Snow, East Granby Targets Cul-De-Sacs And Blind Spots
Forecasters say Connecticut could see another winter storm this weekend.
EAST GRANBY, CT — As the state continues to dig out from this past weekend’s snowstorm, town officials say public works crews are back out addressing safety issues left behind by heavy snowfall.
According to the Town of East Granby, the Department of Public Works is working in neighborhood cul-de-sacs and along roadway sight lines to improve visibility and roadway safety after nearly two feet of snow fell across parts of Connecticut on Sunday and Monday.
Officials are asking residents and drivers to use caution and remain mindful of crews and equipment operating in these areas as cleanup and safety work continues.
