Cat Café Coming To Granby

GRANBY, CT — A new cat café is coming to Granby.

Nine Lives Café is planned for 335 Salmon Brook St., according to basic business registration information for 9 Lives Cafe LLC.

The café is expected to offer coffee, pastries, cats, cuddles and adoption opportunities, according to social media posts from owner Holly Kundrata and Enfield Community Cat Project.

Kundrata announced the project in a Facebook post Monday, saying more details would be shared soon.

“Coffee. Pastries. Cats. Cuddles. Adoptions,” Kundrata wrote in the announcement.

Enfield Community Cat Project later shared that it has been selected as the rescue partner for the new café.

The rescue group said it was approached by the café and agreed to partner on the project. The organization said the café will give visitors a chance to spend time with cats while also supporting adoptions.

“Nine Lives Café will offer coffee, pastries, cats, cuddles, and adoptions — truly a dream combination,” Enfield Community Cat Project wrote.

The group also praised Kundrata, saying she has created “the absolute perfect space for cats and humans.”

Additional details, including an opening date, are expected to be announced later.
