East Granby Resident Trooper Moves Up In Ranks
The promotions reflect years of service, sacrifice and commitment to Connecticut communities.
EAST GRANBY, CT — The community’s longtime Resident State Trooper is moving up in rank.
Connecticut State Police announced that TFC Kyle Demetrion has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and assigned to Troop C in Tolland.
Demetrion will continue serving as East Granby’s Resident State Trooper until approximately March 5, according to state police. After that date, another trooper will be placed in the role on a temporary basis.

He has served in East Granby for the past several years, working closely with local police, fire and EMS agencies on emergency scenes, training and public safety planning.
State police said the recent promotional ceremony recognized one lieutenant, two master sergeants and 13 sergeants, citing their leadership, professionalism and dedication to public service.
