Granby Voters Set To Decide Town Budget
If the budget fails, Granby officials say the process will repeat until voters approve a spending plan.
GRANBY, CT — Granby’s proposed town budget is heading to voters.
The town said the annual machine vote on the FY2026-27 budget is scheduled for Monday, April 20, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Granby Town Hall Meeting Room. Town officials said the budget must receive a majority of “yes” votes to take effect. If it fails, the process repeats until a budget wins approval.
Granby also is directing residents to a budget reports page on the town website, where the Board of Selectmen’s recommended FY2026-27 budget book and departmental PowerPoint presentations are posted. Those presentations were prepared for the Board of Selectmen’s budget workshops held March 5, March 9 and March 12.
