The crash brought down a utility pole, forcing officials to shut Meadowbrook Road between Susan Lane and Salmon Brook Street.
GRANBY, CT — A crash in town brought down a utility pole and forced the closure of part of Meadowbrook Road, police said.
The single-vehicle crash happened on Meadowbrook Road and resulted in a pole being knocked down, with wires left across the roadway, according to the Granby Police Department. No injuries were reported.
Because of the downed pole and live wires, Meadowbrook Road is closed between Susan Lane and Salmon Brook Street. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while emergency crews and utility personnel work at the scene.
