2-Hour Delayed Opening Announced For Greenwich Public Schools

Connecticut is still digging out following the major winter storm that barreled through the region over the weekend.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Public Schools announced late Monday afternoon that it will operate under a two-hour delay on Tuesday, Jan. 27, to ensure a safe arrival for students and staff.

The school district, like many others around the state, was closed on Monday following the major winter storm that barreled through the region Sunday.

Greenwich Town Hall will reopen for normal business on Tuesday. First Selectman Fred Camillo has lifted the snow emergency restrictionson street parking within town.
