Greenwich Nationals 8U, 9U Teams Reach First-Ever Spring Championship Games
The championship appearances mark a significant milestone for the youth baseball program.
GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Nationals Baseball Club will host a pair of championship games Saturday as its 8U and 9U travel teams compete in the Greater Hudson Valley Division 3 Spring Championship for the first time in the program's history.
The championship games are scheduled for June 6 at Banksville Home Field, 12 Banksville Road in Greenwich, and are expected to draw players, families and supporters from across the community.
The Nationals' 8U team will face Pomperaug Kid Pitch 8U following an opening ceremony at 12:45 p.m. The first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Later in the day, the Nationals' 9U team will take on Red Storm White 9U. An opening ceremony is planned for 4:15 p.m., with first pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
The Greenwich Nationals Baseball Club is made up of players from public and private elementary schools throughout Greenwich. The championship appearances mark a significant milestone for the youth baseball program.

Community members are invited to attend the games and support the teams. The day will include opening ceremonies, ceremonial first pitches, food and other family-friendly activities.
Due to limited parking at the field, attendees are encouraged to carpool when possible.
