"Officer LaBorne observed a suspect fleeing the area on foot then Lieutenant Lyman identified fresh footprints in the snow leading toward a nearby residence," the GPD said. "Upon arrival, Lieutenant Lyman discovered signs of forced entry to a second-floor window. After officers established a perimeter, Lieutenant Lyman made the decision to enter the residence and led a team in a search."
During the search, police said Lyman and assisting officers located the suspect hiding in the residence. The suspect was then taken into custody without incident.
